Rosie the Outfielder Baseball Enlists
THE WAR GAVE THEM THEIR CHANCE. Organized during the war, the All-American Girls Baseball League brought fans in the Midwest face-to-face with skilled women athletes. In return, the AAGBL teams, via their regular schedule and special exhibition games, joined the effort to maintain morale on the home front.
