This program is from a special benefit U.S. Service
All Star Game
in which an American League all-star team defeated an all-star team
comprised of ballplayers in the service by a score of 5-0. The game took
place in Cleveland on July 7, 1942, and all proceeds from
the sale of the 10¢ program went to Army Emergency Relief.
